Tim Plant Anabl Ceredigion disabled Children’s Team, Short Breaks Service, hopes to recruit either an individual or couple/family who could look after disabled children for short breaks within their own home.

Such care enhances the lives of disabled children and young people by giving opportunities for new experiences and increased independence, whilst giving families a break from caring.

Retained Family Link Carers are a vital part of our family based short  breaks service, offering care to a minimum of 3 children (at different times) for agreed periods of time, such as weekends or longer periods during holidays. You will receive payment and some extra expenses. You are entitled to sickness and holiday leave.

Training and ongoing support are given. Applicants will need to be assessed and approved within Ceredigion Social Services Department before commencing the role.
