This is an exciting opportunity for a Specialist Mental Health Social Worker to join the Community Mental Health Team based in North Ceredigion. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team and will have a complex caseload of clients who have a serious and enduring mental illness.  The Community Mental Health Team is enthusiastic and dynamic and as one of the Social Workers within the team your role will be to ensure that a socially aware perspective is considered when dealing with service users and their carers.

You will benefit from the support and regular supervision within a well established team.

This post is to work alongside the Senior Practitioner and other professionals within the Community Mental Health Team to support clients who have a serious and enduring mental illness.  You will work with service users and their carers in a supportive and non-stigmatising manner.  You will hold the role of Care Co-ordinator for a complex caseload and will sometimes co-work with colleagues from other professional disciplines.

Knowledge of Care Programme Approach is desirable as well as basic IT skills.

An emphasis is placed on giving regular, supportive supervision.

Knowledge of the statutory regulations and policies is important.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable.
